With visage blinds there is a soft horizontal tilted fabric that is suspended between two layers of sheer fabric.
The blind can be lowered like a roller blind but when it reaches the desired drop, it can then open allowing the sheer fabric to be seen therefore allowing light and vision. Pull the control chain the opposite direction and the blind rolls up the other way. Brilliant.
